This morning, I was awake bright and early…at least, in comparison to the rest of my holiday. I decided that it would be a shame to miss the first sunrise of the new year, especially because the sun doesn’t come up until around 8.30am, so I layered up and walked down to the seafront. The sun eventually broke out of the clouds on the horizon just as I was nearing the pier, which resulted in one of the best views I’ve ever seen of the Cleethorpes front!
