This shot is from an absolute cracker of an afternoon that we spent on Whitehaven Beach. I have nothing but good memories from my three days in the Whitsundays with my mother and brother, but the day we went to Whitehaven was possibly my favourite. At 8am, we were picked up by the Camira, a large catamaran that took us first to a snorkeling spot off Hook Island, then on to Whitehaven Beach before serving up a delicious seafood lunch. In our hour actually on the beach, we had a great time playing in the calm surf and listening to the squeaky sound of the fine sand underfoot.
