One of the many shots of Mt. Cook and the Southern Alps that I took from a heli-flight from Franz Josef.
As you may know from my “I’m Going to New Zealand!” post, last week I was chosen as the winner of Wotif.com’s “Wotif You Won a New Zealand Tiki Tour” competition. I honestly still can’t believe it, and I’m already halfway to Christchurch on this Air New Zealand plane (which comes complete with a Richard Simmons in-flight safety video).
This blog will continue to be updated while I am in New Zealand, but the content will not be in relation to my current trip. If you want to follow what I’m doing in my nine-day trek around Canterbury, you can visit:
Wotif Blog (will be updated each morning with my posts from the previous day)
Twitter – @aussiestompy (will be updated as I go, depending on mobile reception)
Twitter – #wotifblog (will be used for all content, like blog entries and my tweets, as well as conversations)
Boots and a Backpack on Facebook (will be updated as I go)
I can’t wait for touchdown in Christchurch so I can start on the amazing itinerary that’s been planned for me! Thanks again to Wotif and Canterbury Tourism for this wonderful opportunity.
Awesome girl, congrats!! Hope you’re having the best time!
