On our first day in Singapore, my dad took my brother and me to Jurong Bird Park. This bird park is the largest in the world and is home to a huge array of birds — from bald eagles to toucans to penguins and everything in between. We spent hours wandering between all of the different habitats and wondering what on earth would have caused some of the birds to evolve into what they are today. The photo above was taken in the Lory Loft, which is the Australian-themed area of the park (and funnily enough, where I was mistaken for being an Australian)! Even though I have these birds living in the trees outside my house, it was still a lot of fun to be swarmed by them as soon as we picked up the feeding trays.
